Manages and Supervises the Departmental Budget. Approves all monetary transactions. Evaluates the needs and improvement of the infrastructure for teaching,research laboratories, classrooms, offices, and others. Coordinates maintenance activities for these facilities, including meeting with Deans, Finance, and other related offices. Coordinates all the undergraduates students working to our Department.

Coordinates activities and meetings related to the acreditation of the departamental programs. Gathers data for the preparation of documents and reports related to the acreditation process.

To provide information to students and visitors about our undergraduate academic programs. To evaluate the academic records of our undergraduate students in order to determine if they fulfill the graduation requirements established by the UPRM academic regulations as well as by ABET. In charge of working in the whole registration process of our students as well as to provide individual and group advising to our students.

Graduate school applications, graduate counseling (registration, tuition, fellowships)

She provides to the Electrical Engineering students individual, educational, vocational counseling and career development. She also teaches them the course Introduction to University Way of Life (UNIV 0004).

Keeps the Director's Agenda, receives the documentation for Appointment, Economic Aid, Evaluation, Promotion, and Permanence to be evaluated by the Personnel Committee.
